AI Create Survey
Instead of building a survey from scratch, tell AI what your store sells and what you want to learn. It generates a survey ready to use, with the right questions, question types, and display channel already picked.
Start creating with AI
On the Surveys page, click Create new survey, then choose Create with AI from the menu ("Let AI build a survey tailored to your store"). You can also start this from onboarding.
Tell AI about your store
In the Create survey with AI modal (Step 1 of 2):
- Pick your industry: Fashion / Apparel, Home / Garden, Beauty / Skincare, Food / Beverage, Health / Wellness, Electronics / Accessories, Pet Supplies, Kids / Baby, Sports / Outdoors, Jewelry / Accessories. Or choose Other and type your own.
Choose your survey goal
In Step 2, pick what you want to learn:

Add notes (optional)
Under Any specific notes? (optional), tell AI anything extra, for example "I just launched a new product" or "I run ads on TikTok and Instagram." You can also request a specific number of questions here (up to 500 characters).
Generate your survey
Click Generate survey. AI builds the survey and opens it directly in the editor so you can review and customize before publishing.
How It Picks Questions and Channel
- AI selects question types that fit your goal: single choice, NPS, star rating, open text, and more
- Default is 3 questions (best practice); ask for a different number in your notes
- Questions are written in the language you use in your notes
Display channel is chosen automatically based on your goal:

Mentioning words like "checkout", "product page", or "popup" in your notes can steer the channel choice.
Available on all plans. AI generates a starting point. Review the questions in the editor and adjust anything before publishing.
