This section is where you build the heart of your survey by defining its core elements.
In this stage, you can create the survey questions that align with your objectives, customize the answer formats to suit your audienceโs preferences, and design a thank-you card to leave a positive impression once the survey is completed.
Here are some core elements you need to look into while setting up the content for your survey.
Follow these steps to set up questions for your survey:
Add a New Question
Start by adding a new question to your survey.
Select question type
Choose the type of question you want to use for your survey:
Single choice: Customers can only choose one in the provided answers
Multiple choice: Customers can choose more than one in the provided answers
Number scale: Customers can rate from 1 to 10
Satisfaction: Customers can choose which level they are satisfied
Star rating: Customers can choose to rate from 1 to 5 stars
Short answer: Customers can freely type their answers
Add a question description
Provide additional context or instructions by adding a description to the question.
Upload an image
Visuals can make your survey more engaging and clear.
Allow question skipping (Optional)
Decide whether customers can skip the question
Complete these steps for each question to ensure your survey is both user-friendly and effective in collecting valuable data.
Follow these steps to configure the answers for your survey questions:
Enter answer information
Start by filling in the answer options you want to present for your question.
Add more answer options
If needed, create additional answer choices to cover a wider range of responses.
Enable custom answers (Optional)
Turn on the Custom answer feature to let customers add or modify their responses.
Select one of the following display settings for the custom answer field:
Always show: The description field for custom answers will always be visible for customers to fill out.
When customer selects answer(s): The description field will only appear when a specific answer option is selected by the customer. Choose the applicable answer(s) to trigger the custom answer field.
These steps allow for a more dynamic and personalized survey experience, enabling you to gather richer and more meaningful insights from your customers.
Customize what happens after your customers submit a survey by choosing one of the following options for the thank-you card:
Option 1: Default
After customers submit the survey, a thank-you card will automatically display.
You can personalize this card by editing the Heading and Description to suit your branding or message.
Option 2: External link
Redirect customers to a specific webpage after they submit the survey.
Simply input the desired link, and customers will be taken there once they complete the survey.
Option 3: Do nothing
Select this option if you prefer no action after submission. Customers will not see a thank-you card or be redirected anywhere.
Choose the option that best fits your survey's purpose and customer experience goals.
