When a customer tries to leave your store, an exit intent survey automatically pops up. It helps you understand why customers are leaving and gives you one last chance to engage them—whether to offer a discount, collect feedback, or prevent cart abandonment.

Setting up an exit intent survey is simple. Follow these steps to launch one on your store:
Start by creating a survey specifically designed for exit intent.
Go to your Surveys page.
Click Create new survey.
Choose the Exit Intent template from the available templates (Optional)
Customize the questions to match what you want to ask customers before they leave.
Once your survey is ready, it’s time to enable the Exit Intent channel:
In the Survey Channel section, toggle on Exit Intent.
This will activate the popup when customers show exit behavior.
Decide when customers should see the survey to make it more relevant:
Show when the customer has an empty cart
Show when the customer has products in cart
Control how often the exit intent survey appears:
Only once per customer, to avoid annoying visitors.
Every time the customer attempts to exit and hasn’t completed the survey, for maximum feedback collection.
Monitor responses: Regularly check survey results to gather insights and adjust questions if needed.
A/B test: Try different offers or questions to see what works best in reducing abandonment.
Combine with other channels: You can also run Email or On-site surveys alongside Exit Intent for a complete feedback system.
