# Working with Klaviyo

### What is Klaviyo Integration?

Klaviyo integration allows you to automatically send survey response data from SEA Survey directly to your Klaviyo account via API connection. This feature creates a seamless data flow between your survey results and your email marketing platform.

### How to Connect Klaviyo Integration

Follow these steps to establish a connection between Sea Survey and your Klaviyo account:

#### Step 1: Access the Integration Section

#### Step 2: Manage Klaviyo Connection

1. In the "Integrations" section, locate the Klaviyo integration option
2. Click **Connect** or **Manage Connection** next to Klaviyo
3. You'll see a field requesting your Klaviyo API key

#### Step 3: Get Your Klaviyo API Key

You'll need to retrieve a private API key from your Klaviyo account:

**Access Klaviyo Settings**

1. Log in to your Klaviyo account at klaviyo.com
2. Click on your account name in the bottom left corner
3. Select **Settings** from the dropdown menu

**Navigate to API Keys Section**

1. In the Settings menu, scroll down to find **API Keys**
2. Click on **API Keys** to open the API management page

**Create a New Private API Key**

1. Click **Create Private API Key** button
2. In the "API Key Name" field, enter a descriptive name like "Sea Survey Integration"
3. Under permissions, grant **Full Access** to the following:
   * **Profiles** - Required to update customer profile data
   * **Events** - Needed to track survey completion events
   * **Lists** - Necessary for adding customers to segments based on responses
4. Click **Create** to generate your API key

**Copy and Connect the API Key**

1. Once created, **copy** the full API key
2. Return to SEA Survey in your Shopify admin
3. **Paste** the API key into the Klaviyo API key field
4. Click **Save** or **Connect** to establish the integration
