Accessibility scanner
This feature helps you identify accessibility issues on your storefront and understand how to improve your store compliance
Step 1: Access Accessibility Scanner
Open your admin Dashboard
Navigate to the Accessibility Scanner screen

Step 2: Run a Scan
Click Scan to begin scanning your storefront. You can define Scan scope to control which parts of your storefront will be scanned
All pages: Scan the entire storefront
Group of pages: Scan selected page groups:
Product pages (
/products)Collection pages (
/collections)Pages (
/pages)Other (
/search,/policies,/cart)
Specific page: Enter a specific page URL to scan
The scanner automatically checks your store against WCAG 2.2 accessibility criteria
Wait for the scan to complete (scan time may vary depending on store size)
Step 3: Review Scan Results
Once finished, a detailed report will be generated.

The scan report summary includes:
List of detected accessibility issues
Accessibility score
Lawsuit risk against WCAG 2.2 AA

For each detected issue, you can:
Review issue details by click button show details:
Issue severity levels (e.g. critical, moderate, minor)
Affected elements/pages
Description of the issue
Suggested remediation guidance from "Action needed"
Manually mark issue as solved
Keep unresolved issues visible for transparency purposes (used in Accessibility Statement)
You can use this report to prioritize fixes and coordinate with your development or theme team.
By using the Accessibility Scanner and Update Statement together, youβre actively improving accessibility while keeping your customers informed.
